Storytime Program Descriptions

 

BabyStorytime - Thursdays @ 10:00-10:30

For ages 0-12 months ONLY*

Includes rhymes, songs, boardbooks, lapsit activities, music, and more. *Geared specifically to babies ages 0-12 months. 

 

Tiny Tots Storytime - Mondays @ 10:00-10:45

 For ages 0 - 2.5 years:

 Includes rhymes, fingerplays, songs, board books, lapsit activites, shakers, free play, and more!

 

Storytime -Wednesdays @ 10:30-11:15

For ages 3 - 5 years

Includes stories, songs, crafts, free play and more!


Other Programs

 

YFCP Play & Learn Group

with Ms. Avery

 

Join Ms. Avery for a free 5-week playgroup series at the Charlton Library! Children, ages 2-5, will be introduced to literacy, music, science, math and movement activities during free play, circle and story time. Parents/caregivers will have the opportunity to share ideas, develop relationships and expand their support system in this 5 week series. Siblings are welcome. Space is limited. Registration is required and is for all 5 weeks.

YFCP is a Massachusetts Coordinated Family & Community Engagement (CFCE) grant funded by the Department of Early Education & Care and awarded to the YMCA of Central Massachusetts.            

 


Program Registration

Please read below for registration policies

 

Unless otherwise stated, our Kids Programs require online registration. Many of these special themed programs have enough supplies for a certain amount of kids and are meant for a certain age and skill level. When registering, please make sure you are entering the correct number of children that are attending, as we may not have enough supplies to accomodate extra. Wait lists will be established in the event someone cancels.
